National Daylight Appreciation Day

June 21, 2015 (and every June 21) will be a day devoted to the sun and the many benefits of daylighting.

What is daylighting, you ask?

This term refers to the use of natural light to brighten an interior space, as opposed to electric lighting. Not only will it reduce your energy bills and carbon footprint, but studies have proven that daylighting can enhance mental and physical well-being, as well as boost concentration and energy levels.
